Dangerous voyage

In mid-January 2012 shocking news spread around the world about the tragic crash of a cruise ship Costa Concordia off the western coast of Italy, which killed 69 people. This sad event reminded of one of the biggest tragedies of the 20th century - the death of the flagman of the Soviet passenger ship "Mikhail Lermontov".

Cruise liner 'Mikhail Lermontov' sank in 1986 off the coast of New Zealand. An experienced local marine pilot changed the course and landed the cruise ship on the rocks. The crew heroically saved all 408 foreign passengers.

What was it? Was it a planned diversion or a tragic set of circumstances? The mystery of the crash has not been solved until this day. The filmmakers Alexander Anisimov, Olga Volodina and Elena Kotunova present their view of this tragedy ...
